Stepping into Masseria Balsamo felt like discovering a hidden gem in Puglia. the warm hospitality of Giacomo and his family made us feel like part of their own kin, offering local surprises like the delightful pasticciotto breakfast. the attention to detail in the handcrafted furniture and decor truly showcases the family's dedication to preserving authentic Italian charm. The spacious room, adorned with a fusion of modern amenities and traditional touches, provided a peaceful retreat after exploring the nearby towns of Lecce and Gallipoli. the proximity to stunning beaches and tourist attractions made it a perfect base for our exploration of Salento. the family's warmth and helpful recommendations for local dining spots added a personal touch to our experience. the peaceful atmosphere and the delectable "family dinner" highlighted our evenings, leaving us refreshed and eager to return.
